BILL FOSTER WRITING CONTEST
Calling all writers! You are invited to submit a text written in English or French on the theme of "Friendship". Your composition can take any format - short story, poem, graphic novel, illustrated book - handwritten or typed.
Two categories will be evaluated: 6 - 9 years old, 10 - 12 years old Three prizes will be awarded for each category February 15 - April 2 AWARDS CEREMONY: Sunday, May 3th, 11 am STORYWALK

Meeting with Elly Mackay Elly MacKay is an acclaimed paper artist and award-winning children's bookmaker. She is the author and illustrator of a number of picture books. After a reading of Frostfire children will create their own characters.

'Elevate Aviation’ - a Canadian non-profit organization and it's resources in careers in aviation will be presented by Elizabeth Smyth. The event will include a few activities: children and parents will be introduced to the phonetic alphabet and learn about the different parts of a plane.
